For over sixty years, Marlow Motor Company has proudly served Virginia's Northern Shenandoah Valley as a family-owned and operated dealership.
Marlow Motor Company was founded in 1947 by Guy Marlow. At that time, the dealership was a Kaiser-Frazer dealership. Only eight years later in 1955, Marlow Motor Company added Mercury to its line-up. As years passed, Marlow Motor Company grew with the inclusion of the Jeep line in 1964, and the Dodge, Chrysler, and Plymouth lines in 1990. In 1990, the dealership outgrew its original building and moved into a new facility occupying a full block on Commerce Avenue in Front Royal, Virginia. Today, Marlow Motor Company is proud to offer new Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram vehicles.
Our Leadership.
In 1964, John Marlow became involved in the operation of the Marlow Motor Company, and in 1971, he took the reins and purchased his father's interest in the dealership. John Marlow is a graduate of Warren County High School and the University of Virginia, where he was the captain of the football team. He later served in the United States Army, and went on to proudly represent his community as Mayor of Front Royal and Chairman of the Warren County Board of Supervisors. Today, Mr. Marlow is actively involved with numerous charitable organizations in the Shenandoah Valley.
In 2010, Emily Marlow Beck, a third generation of the Marlow family, joined the leadership at Marlow Motor Company. Prior to rejoining the Marlow Motor Company team, Emily practiced law in the Washington, D.C. area for over seven years, during which time she consulted and trained scores of dealerships on customer-friendly sales and finance practices. Emily is a graduate of Warren County High School, the University of Virginia, and the American University Washington College of Law.
